We need your help
During the last week in January, 2025 we have the opportunity to welcome veterinarians from Fondation Aide Vétérinaire Internationale (FAVI) in Quebec who will spend the week spaying and neutering dogs and cats with the help of local vets and volunteers.
We are asking for your help to raise the funds necessary to provide these surgeries for as many as 300 animals during our upcoming clinic.
The total sum required is estimated to be 9000 US$.
Make a difference
There are multiple ways to make Belize a better place for animals. Here are some.

You can foster, feed strays, drive animals to the veterinary clinics or assist us at our spay & neuter clinics. Please be pro-active, if needed we can try and help you. Keep an eye on our Social Media, sometimes we request assistance.
The most sustainable approach to change the situation surrounding Animal Welfare in Belize, is education. Please talk to your fellow Belizeans and sensibilize them for the responsible pet ownership.
What we do - a quick overview
Although we do not have the resources to provide the Cayo District with a much needed shelter (it would overflow anyway), we do our best every day serving the community and animals.
We try to organize regular clinics to give Belizeans a more affordable access to veterinary care and in particular sterilization.
Our volunteers along with some kind members of the community foster rescued strays, nurse them back to health and find them new homes.
On request we help individuals by taking over partial costs of medical care if the dog in need is a rescue.
We use our Social Media Platforms and face-to-face contact to educate the local community on animal welfare.
Dogs currently looking for a home
We have several dogs in foster care that are looking for a family. You can find many of them on our Social Media. Please contact us to request more details on the process.
